As a cycling and social club, the Harmon Bike Club's primary focus is to annually form a fund-raising team for the Courage Classic Bicycle Tour (www.courageclassic.org) that benefits Mary Bridge Children's Hospital in Tacoma. 100% of the money raised is dedicated to Child Abuse Prevention Programs. In 2008, our inaugural year, we raised over $20,000. We will strive to have the largest team that rides in this annual event as well as the team that raises the most money to support this great cause.

We will do our best to have weekly rides, depending on the season, hosted by club members with the ride description sent out weekly via email. We will also have quarterly parties for bike club members and their guests only, at The Harmon and The Hub, where you will receive special prices on your favorite food and beverage.

Your one-time membership fee of $25 provides you with a Harmon Bike Club T-shirt, a $10 gift certificate to either the Harmon or Hub restaurant, and updates about club activities. We donate $15 from every membership directly to the Courage Classic fund-raising effort.
